Through my research that i obtained i noticed a trend which was during weekdays a lot of the showings were during the evening and this seems to be due to the fact that most people are at work during the day and have free time during the evening. On weekends however this is not the case and there are a variety of showings throughout the day from morning till the early morning. This could be due to the fact that children are home and parents take them to the cinema depending on the film. But also people have free time on the weekend and are more likely to watch a film.

The age rating of the film plays a key part for the audience as a children's film will screen on the weekends more than say on the weekdays and children are busy with school but on weekends they can persuade there parents to take them to the film.
