Audience research: Audience profile (Michael Cranenbuurgh)

Our thriller will be rated as a 15 . Therefore I think that the target audience will be mainly both male and female teenagers and people within the 15-25 demographic. However my research shows that a more mature audience would also be interested in watching the thriller. Since we have decided on producing a mysterious thriller, I expect my audience to be above 15 as people younger than that may not be able to understand the complex plot of a mysterious thriller.

Occupation: Part time student and part time working at Boots. 

Enjoys: hanging out with friends on the weekend, shopping as well as watching TV.

What they like about thrillers: they have usually have an interesting twist to the plot. They also enjoy the unexpected and mystery. 

Favourite genre: Horror , Romance and comedy.

Occupation: Currently completing his masters degree. 

Enjoys: Going to the gym, playing games.

What they like about thrillers: there are high levels of suspense which makes you want to watch more and you often need to think about the plot to understand it
